MICHELLE SLACK
CONSULTANT NEUROLOGICAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Michelle has been a qualified physiotherapist for over 20 years. Michelle studied and gained her degree from Teeside University in Middlesborough. Throughout her career Michelle has worked with several NHS trusts and outreach teams.
Her specialist interest is neurological disorders and working with patients to rehabilitate them to learn new tasks and abilities to improve their physical function by increasing range of movement, muscle strength, and balance.
Michelle is also qualified in acupuncture, electroacupuncture, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, and rebound therapy. Throughout her career she has experience and is skilled in postural management, manual manipulation, Maitland technique, McKenzie technique, and Mulligan technique. This gives her multiple concepts to draw upon to support her patient's goals.
She also, has extensive experience in multi-disciplinary working for litigation and case management services.
Michelle believes in teamwork and utilising the skills and the professions of the people around her, this is reflected in her passion for treating her patients her great case management in the goal of getting her patients better.
